The farm is a wonderful place for children to play but parents or guardians are responsible for them at all times. Please always use a fire guard (provided) on the wood burning stove and do not leave them alone around the bbq / fire pit area. Children must not play unsupervised anywhere on the farm. Knightstone Farm accepts no responsibility for injury incurred on site. Please also be aware there is a lake and a river near-by so please keep an eye on your children around these areas.
Our hot tub is refreshed for every new guests arrival and is refilled with our own spring water. Due to the fact we completely refill the hot tub before your arrival please do not expect the tub to be hot when you arrive and it will take a good few hours for it to heat hot enough before you may wish to jump in. No other compounds are to be added to the water at any time.
Please don’t feed the farm animals without the supervision of Dave or Vicki.
Noise and Nuisance:
Anyone committing a nuisance at Knightstone Farm will be asked to leave immediately and without a refund.
Our Safari Tent can accommodate a maximum of six people and the Shepherds Hut four.

No Smoking Policy:
Knightstone Farm has a strict No Smoking Policy within any building or close proximity. Anyone who smokes outside of the tent or shepherds hut is responsible for disposing of their cigarette butts in a bin (when cold) and must not litter the surrounding area.
There is an abundance of wildlife on the farm. We advise wearing long trousers and boots if walking or playing in the wood. If bitten seek medical advice. The nearest Health Centre is in Ottery St Mary. Knightstone Farm accepts no responsibility for injury by wildlife incurred on site.
Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children on site at all times.

Fires are restricted strictly to the wood burning stoves and bbq fires only.
It is prohibited to interfere with or adapt the structure of the tents in any way. DO NOT REMOVE FURNITURE FROM INSIDE THE TENT OR SHEPHERDS HUT.
Unlike many luxury camping companies we don’t turn away adult groups.
You are more than welcome to use the lake but do not use anything on the lake i.e. a boat or any type of inflatable.
No Dog Policy:
I am afriad we dont accept dogs on site – I know a pain for some and we do love them ourselves but due to the fact we are a working dairy farm and at times cows graze right next to the glamping site we wont take them. Sorry.
